HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
After your baby is born, I will provide you with a prep guide so you can make sure your baby is ready for your session.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BABY IS FUSSY DURING THE PHOTO SHOOT?
I have learned a variety of calming techniques to soothe baby. If none of my techniques work, then we will reschedule your session. If your session requires being rescheduled, it is done within a day or two. I have only had to do this twice in 10 years.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
The studio will be warm. (75 degrees) So dress in layers. I will also have several white noise machines going to help baby sleep. I will also have my studio light on and overhead lights off. I have a comfy seating area for parents to watch during your session. I usually start with parent/sibling shots and move on to prop shots and posed shots.
HOW LONG DOES A NEWBORN SESSION LAST?
A Full Newborn session can last up to 3 hours, a Newborn Only Session can last up to two hours and a Wrapped Newborn Session is typically around 30-45 minutes.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME TO MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
My studio is fully stocked with props, outfits, wraps, headbands, hats, and accessories. If you have a specific prop, outfit, etc. you would like to be used in your session, feel free to bring it in.
WHERE IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO LOCATED?
My Studio is located in Hall County, Gainesville Georgia. It is located close to the Kroger on Jesse Jewell Parkway
HOW DO I BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
You can book by contacting me directly by phone, text or by filling out the quick form on my contact page. You can also send me message via any of my social media.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
2 weeks (usually sooner).
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
You will receive your images through an online gallery link sent via email when editing has been completed.
CAN I GET PRINTS OF MY IMAGES?
I recommend mpix.com. Prints/albums coming soon!
WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE AREA? DO YOU TRAVEL?
I typically shoot in areas that are within 30 miles of Gainesville, GA. I do travel, and a travel fee will be added to any distance over 30 miles from my studio. I use the mileage rate provided on the IRS website. I will provide you with a quote prior to booking.
WHO PICKS THE LOCATION FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS?
We both do! I know several locations within an hour of the studio. I also love finding new locations. So, if you have any suggestions feel free to share them with me. If a location has a fee/security deposit, then it is the clients' responsibility to pay this fee. Location fees are not included in session fees unless otherwise stated. This fee will include admittance and parking fees for the clients and the photographer.
DO YOU WORK WEEKENDS?
I work one to two full weekends per month. Fridays before 5pm are not considered to be weekend times. If you know you can only be available during the weekend, I suggest you book in advance to secure a weekend appointment.
