Crank up the heat to at least 75, 30 minutes before your session so baby will stay asleep

Turn on the TV to add some background noise

Clear off counters and bedside table

If you feel up to it put on some lip gloss and mascara and brush/fix your hair

Change into something comfortable like pjs/gown and layer it with a cute robe

Wear solid color socks or slippers

Dress baby in a white onsie or an outfit of choice

Have sentimental items on hand

Put up blankets/pillows and fold up the couch in your room

Remove items from the window seal and open all the blinds

Feed baby 20 minutes before my arrival

Dad’s need to wear a complimentary solid color shirt without any logos/patterns or designs and textures

Let the hospital staff know when Im coming and that I will be there for about 30 minutes to hold off on tests/vitals with you and baby

Put a do not disturb sign on your door

Let visitors know to hold off until we are finished
